 What coverages and conditions does the OPPO guarantee have? At ANOVO , as the official OPPO technical service for the brand's devices, techwadia we offer you all the important information that you should take into account about the OPPO mobile phone warranty.

In general, as we have commented in other articles on our blog, the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users in Spain determines that the guarantee of a mobile phone , like that of any other technological device acquired in our country, must have a minimum duration of 2 years.

The OPPO warranty terms specify a warranty period of:

•24 months for all devices,

•24 months for internal batteries,

•12 months for external batteries,

•6 months for accessories and consumables, headphones, USB cable and AC charger.

However, from June 1, 2020, the company announced the extension of the warranty period to 24 months for all accessories included in the purchase of a device from that date. That is, for all OPPO devices, accessories, chargers and headphones purchased since June 1, 2020, the warranty has a validity period of 24 months. For those that were previously purchased, the warranty will continue to have the specified terms of 24, 12 and 6 months.

Covers

The OPPO warranty covers the necessary repair ( cost of spare parts and labor ) for the device to function properly.

OPPO Mobile can repair or replace a defective product covered by the warranty with other new or factory-restored parts, if it so chooses, provided that they offer identical features as new products.

Any part or repair carried out in an official OPPO technical service, such as ANOVO, will be covered for the rest of the original warranty period in force or for at least 3 months if it is about to end. Any component or part that is replaced in a repair becomes the property of OPPO.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are exempt from the OPPO warranty service:

•Products that are not manufactured by OPPO or for OPPO.

•Those whose incidence is due to one of the following assumptions:

•use contrary to the official user manual , other than normal, incorrect or abusive , viruses , negligent use (including an inappropriate voltage or power supply);

•use of parts not manufactured or distributed by OPPO Mobile;

•any change or modification made to the device outside of an official technical service;

•repairs carried out by third parties not belonging to OPPO Mobile or its Authorized Technical Service;

•improper transportation or packaging used when sending the product to be repaired to OPPO or its Technical Service;

•improper installation of third-party products such as memory cards, for example;

•aesthetic damage ;

•damage derived from natural phenomena or catastrophes such as lightning or tornadoes, for example;

•accidents, flood, fire, earthquake and other external causes .

•Devices or components thereof that have modified or illegible serial numbers or labels.

•Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data is not covered by warranty.

•The loss or damage to data, programs or removable storage units is also exempt. Having a backup copy of them will be the responsibility of the user. It should be taken into account that OPPO can replace the product for repair, if it deems it so, with another of equivalent quality so that all the data stored in the original product could be lost.

•Normal wear and tear of consumable items such as removable batteries, AC adapters and accessory parts are not covered by the OPPO warranty.

In the event that a product cannot benefit from the OPPO guarantee for any of the reasons explained, the user can request the company or its technical service to repair it. In such case, OPPO Mobile will charge the user the final cost of the parts, labor and the costs derived from the repair service. It may also be requested, depending on the case, the payment of the cost of preparing the budget necessary to carry out the repair. Likewise, OPPO will not be liable for transportation, delivery and insurance costs, taxes, import duties, etc. of those products that are out of its warranty.
